The Story:
Young huntress Nadaya follows the lead of her dreams to find out that a deadly danger threatens the people living in the towns of the canyon. And not only humankind but also the alien races from the endless caves beneath the canyon are facing the end of days as it seems. Thus three unwilling messengers from worlds apart join for a perilous journey to save their people from destruction and lead them to a new home.
From the prologue:
“The rain lay upon the town like a shroud, slate gray and so heavy on the houses that the tiles on the roofs in the upper town cracked and the reed thatched roofs in the fishermen's quarter ducked lower and lower. The drops fell plumb from the windless night and hit the bottom of the canyon here so dense that Nadaya was all but convinced that her nightmare had come true already. But she knew that it had just begun. Motionless she perched on the stone column towering the bridge and waited.”
